The Boys of Summer are Back!

Yes, that's right....baseball season is here again! For those of you who don't know, Seth helps coach the Madison County High School baseball team, along with another guy that he played at UAH with. Seth's youngest brother, Caleb, plays on the team so that keeps us hopping all spring! To celebrate the beginning of the season, I thought I would share of few pics of the hubby from his UAH days.

HOMER! :)

We love our baseball!!

They're here!

Yes, that's right....our bathroom cabinets are finally in! And they look awesome! We are very happy with how they turned out. Take a look....

This is all I could squeeze into the picture.
There will be more to come...the in-laws are working on our tile today!

Slow Progress

Some of you may remember back before Thanksgiving I mentioned that we were renovating our bathroom. Well, here it is the beginning of February and we are STILL renovating our bathroom! It's kinda funny to me that back in November I had hoped this project would be done by Christmas. Boy, was I WAY off! We do have an end in sight now, though. Let me run you through our progress over the past few months.

First, the boys gutted the ENTIRE bathroom...tile, sheetrock, everything. Come to find some of the floor boards were rotting....sooo, those came up too! Once that was fixed, the bathroom looked like this:

Beautiful, I know! :) And in case you were wondering....our toilet at this time was sitting on our front porch. Can we say REDNECK! (Ended up the toilet had water in it that froze and broke the toilet, so it had to be trashed.) Anywho...next came the wiring and plumbing and up with the new sheetrock! We now have walls!!

After some more stuff here and there, we were finally able to paint and put up the bead board. Now, the bathroom is actually looking like it's a part of the house again!

We are hoping that our cabinets will be installed next week!! (Cross your fingers!) Then the guys can do all the tile and trim and finish up! :) YEAH!! I'll post some more pictures when the project is completed!
