The Terrible Two's

Ok, so maybe terrible is a little harsh. Unless you're babysitting not just one two year old, but TWIN two year olds....and they're BOYS on top of that! My brother and his wife, Ashley, are babysitting a relative's twin boys for three weeks. Yes, you heard me right, THREE weeks! While Seth and I were in Henderson last week, Adam and Ashley and the boys (Colton and Conner) came to my parents' house for dinner. What fun! They were as cute as they could be, mullets and all. (They desperately need haircuts!) So, I thought I'd share a few pictures...although, I have no idea which one is Conner and which is Colton. :) Enjoy!
"Mr. Rex" got his box FULL of McDonalds toys down from the attic for them to play with.

This one, let's just call him Colton, LOVED the corn on the cob!

The other one, Conner maybe, just went straight for the spaghetti, one glob full at a time!

After dinner, Adam turned the sprinklers on for them to play in!

Wedding Showers!

I have become a huge fan of wedding showers over the past couple of months. Not just because of the gifts (which Seth and I do enjoy greatly!), but also because of all the people who come to the showers. It is so nice to know that so many people are there to support and encourage us during this time! Seth and I are so blessed to come from two very loving home congregations...Estes COC in Henderson and Maysville COC in Gurley. We cannot thank all the people involved in the showers enough! I thought I would share a few pictures from these two showers, in case you weren't able to be there.

These are all the ladies who helped hostess the Estes Shower. They are all very special to me and longtime friends of my family! And please notice the lovely cake on the table...Kris Bowen made that cake!! We were all VERY impressed and it tasted great!!

Me and Kris, one of my lovely matrons of honor! Ashley Galloway, one of my bridesmaids, also came in for the shower...but since she was in charge of the camera, I don't have a picture of her. :)

I thought this was such a clever gift. We had registered for the cooling racks, but the lady who gave them to us included everything else we would need to make cookies! Even the cookie mix, which is what made it so fun to me!

Now the Maysville Shower. Seth's sisters did all the running for us while we were opening gifts...they will be two more of my bridesmaids. Brittany Ashley (matron of honor) and Amy Wallace (bridesmaid) also made it to Huntsville for the shower!

I got Seth to open up all the gifts at this one! He may not admit it, but he had fun!

And last, but not least, the life of the party...Eli!

54 DAYS AND COUNTING!

So, here I am...joining the blog world! I'm sure in a couple months, when the wedding is over and I have nothing exciting to talk about, I'll wonder why I started this. :) But in the meantime, maybe this will help my lovely bridesmaid girls keep up with all the wedding planning! We all stay so busy these days, it's sometimes hard to find time to sit down and make those much needed phone calls to keep up with what's going on in each other's lives. So maybe this will help a little!

Well, we only have 53 days 15 hours and 7 minutes until the big day...thanks to the countdown clock that Amy gave me! I can't believe it's less than two months away! Thanks to my mom, I haven't been toooo stressed out so far! She has done a TON to get stuff ready for the wedding...decorations, food, photographers, cakes, and the list could go on! So, today, I thought I'd share a few pictures of the decorations to give you a little sneak peak! Hope you like them!
