Wedding Pictures

Ok. Are you ready to be bombarded with pictures?! And these that I'm posting are just a small fraction of the 1300 pictures Kristi took! If you have facebook, I have posted quite a few more there. Julie, I will bring all of them to the next staff meeting for you to see! :) So, here it goes...

My flowergirl, McKenzie, was very attentive to my needs. :) Our ringbearer, Trey, was also very concerned that our rings were in a safe place all day. They were great!

This is my favorite picture of all the boys!

Of course, I had to put a picture of Eli on here! This is Seth's nephew...cute as can be in his little suit!

This is one of my favorites of all us girls.

Too cute! :)

Seth and I saw each other before the wedding. We were able to have a moment to ourselves while Kristi took pictures. This was the best thing we did! Not only were we able to take all of our pictures beforehand, but it also took a lot of the pressure and nerves away from both of us.

I love McKenzie in this picture! She was not happy about all these other women kissing Seth!

And, finally, this is one of my favorites of me and Seth. However, it's not the only one! I don't think Kristi took a single bad picture!

They're Here!!!

Guess what! The wedding pictures are in!! Hopefully I will get some posted this week! They are wonderful! Kristi Montague was our photographer...she did an excellent job!! Just looking through the pictures makes me feel like I'm living the day all over again! So, get excited!! I'll have a few on here soon!

A Work in Progress

Since the wedding, we have been giving the bachelor pad, aka Seth's house, a little bit of a makeover. And contrary to what Seth may say, all the new stuff wasn't totally from me...Seth picked out quite a few things, although he may not admit it! He has very good taste for a guy!

Anyways, here are a few pictures of the living room....new furniture, new paint, new curtains (thanks to my mom), and new decor. Hopefully you like it! We are enjoying it!

This is the furniture we recently got from Furniture Row. We had found the exact same thing about a year ago at Haverty's, but didn't want to pay that much. Then a couple months ago we found this at Furniture Row for half the price! Plus it was on sale!

This is the 'Big Daddy Pod Chair.' This is what sold Seth on the furniture. It's huge and comfy, plus it swivels!!

Fireplace and decor....thanks to Ashley for the clock!

The mantle needed just a little more filler, so I got a few things from Hobby Lobby and made these. Nothing fancy, but I think it does the job.

These are the curtains that my mom made with the material we found at Hobby Lobby.

This lamp is the most recent addition to our living room....also a steal of a deal! Regularly priced $199.99.....drum roll please....we got it for $39.98! And of course, it's from Hobby Lobby. :)

And lastly, let's not leave out the masterpiece of the room.....the big screen!

Honeymoon

I was gonna try to wait to post Honeymoon pictures until after I put up some wedding pictures...but that might be a while. Sooo, after much deliberation, I was able to pick just a few favorites from the almost 500 pictures we took at Disney World. :) Yes, I said 500! We were some picture takin' maniacs!

While we were there, we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge. It was wonderful! It had a great theme and there were very few children running crazy like some other Disney resorts, which made it way more relaxing! We made it to all four of the parks, plus Blizzard Beach and Downtown Disney. We were hesitant to go to the water park, due to the usually large crowds and indecently exposed people. However, I wanted Seth to at least see the park since it has a really neat theme. So we decided to go for the extra magic hour one morning. It was the smartest thing we did all week!! For that first hour and a half, the park was not crowded at all! We were able to ride all the slides more than once and get out before the crowds got bad.

As a wedding gift, Seth gave me tickets to Cirque Du Soleil one night at Downtown Disney. It was absolutely amazing! It was basically just a fancy circus, but the acts they had were great!! Very talented people!

Ok, enough of my babbling, once again. Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy! Check facebook later this week, hopefully I'll have more posted there.

Back to the Real World

I didn't realize that it has been a month since I posted anythng on here! This past month has been a complete blur! Now, the wedding is over and we are adjusting to life back in the real world. Boooo! :)

The wedding was absolutely perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better day! Thank you to everyone who organized, decorated, cooked, cleaned, served food, and helped get me ready! We couldn't have pulled it all off without you! I would try to name everyone that helped, but the list would go on for days! Over the past few months, Seth and I have realized how extremely blessed we are to have so many loving people surrounding us!

The honeymoon at Disney World was also wonderful! It was nice to get away for a little while. This was Seth's first Disney World experience. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed being able to act like a kid all week! This was my first time using the Disney Dining Plan while down there. I highly recommend it!! If you are planning on eating in the parks, this is definitely the way to go! We ate extremely well the entire trip!! Using the dining plan, we were able to eat at restaurants that we ordinarily wouldn't pay for...like eating in Cinderella's Castle...that was pretty cool! :) Anyways, we had a GREAT time, excluding the crowds, the heat, and the baby that blew chunks on the bus we took to the airport. We will definitely go back in the future, but it will be when the weather is cooler and the crowds are smaller!!

Now, life back in the real world. It's going pretty well, other than the fact that I haven't totally re-motivated myself to be productive at work. We are in the process of painting and organizing the house now, so that is giving us plenty to do in our spare time.

I'll try to post some wedding, honeymoon, and house pictures in the next few posts. Those will probably be more entertaining than my rambling. :) Anyways, thanks again to everyone who helped with the wedding and hope you all have a wonderful week!!

The Terrible Two's

Ok, so maybe terrible is a little harsh. Unless you're babysitting not just one two year old, but TWIN two year olds....and they're BOYS on top of that! My brother and his wife, Ashley, are babysitting a relative's twin boys for three weeks. Yes, you heard me right, THREE weeks! While Seth and I were in Henderson last week, Adam and Ashley and the boys (Colton and Conner) came to my parents' house for dinner. What fun! They were as cute as they could be, mullets and all. (They desperately need haircuts!) So, I thought I'd share a few pictures...although, I have no idea which one is Conner and which is Colton. :) Enjoy!
"Mr. Rex" got his box FULL of McDonalds toys down from the attic for them to play with.

This one, let's just call him Colton, LOVED the corn on the cob!

The other one, Conner maybe, just went straight for the spaghetti, one glob full at a time!

After dinner, Adam turned the sprinklers on for them to play in!
